Tehran: Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army, Major General Amir Hatami, announced that Iran's defense capabilities have significantly influenced the strategic calculations of its adversaries.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Major General Hatami expressed in a congratulatory message to Brigadier General Majid Ibn al-Reza, the acting minister of Defense, that when a nation relies on its youth to create a defense system, leverages it to safeguard their dignity and freedom, and places their trust in divine power, they remain resilient and are bound to succeed. This message was conveyed on the occasion of the Day of Defense Industry.

The statement further highlighted the Ministry of Defense's pivotal role in enhancing Iran's deterrence and defense capacity through the development, production, and modernization of a wide range of equipment and systems tailored to the armed forces' requirements. Many of these advancements have demonstrated their effectiveness in actual combat and recent conflicts, becoming international symbols of the strength and potential of Iran's indigenous defense industry.

Major General Hatami emphasized that recent conflicts have showcased the combat effectiveness of the armed forces, which, when combined with the unique resources of Iran's defense industry, reflect the nation's power.
