Tehran: Security forces have identified and arrested six individuals linked to anti-revolutionary and enemy networks in Pardis county, east of Tehran.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the suspects were actively sending content and exchanging information with anti-revolutionary and enemy networks. These elements had played a role in the December riots and nighttime slogan chanting, attempting to create an atmosphere of insecurity in the country under guidance from enemy elements.

The arrests came after sustained intelligence monitoring and surveillance of their activities on social media platforms such as Instagram and Telegram. The operations were conducted separately following a judicial warrant.

Authorities stressed that while citizens have the right to legitimate use of virtual space, any connection with enemy networks will lead to judicial proceedings and legal action.
