Tehran to Host High-Level Security Talks with Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey

Tehran:Senior officials from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey are set to visit Tehran as part of an initiative to bolster endogenous security in West Asia. This announcement was made by Ali Bagheri, the Deputy Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the visit follows a recent meeting between General Asim Munir, the Pakistani army commander, and Major General Mohsen Rezaei, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council. During this meeting, it was revealed that the officials from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan plan to meet with Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary and participate in a joint discussion.

The objective of the visit is to consult with Major General Mohsen Rezaei on matters of regional security. The officials attending the meeting include Khalid bin Salman, the Defense Minister of Saudi Arabia, General Asim Munir, the Commander of the Pakistani Army, and Ibrahim Kalin, the head of Turkey's intelligence agency.

Bagheri commended the Iranian nation and armed forces for their achievements in countering aggression from the US-Israeli forces, noting their inability to meet their aggressive objectives. He emphasized Iran's defense approach, which relies on domestic capacities and has become a successful model for building national security. He also highlighted Iran's strategic policy of ensuring regional security in collaboration with regional countries while opposing foreign interference, particularly from the US-Israeli regimes.

Bagheri criticized the involvement of the Zionist regime in West Asia, describing it as harmful to the region's security and stability. He expressed that the upcoming meeting, involving Iran and the three visiting countries, could significantly contribute to the creation of endogenous security. This effort aligns with Iran's vision of regional security-building through cooperation with regional actors, leveraging its own successful experience in national security-building.
