Rask: Three members of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force's Quds Base have been martyred in Rask, located in southeastern Iran, according to a statement released by the IRGC. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC stated that its members successfully dismantled a team of terrorists during a major ongoing counterterrorism exercise titled 'Martyrs of Security' in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan. The operation, which took place in Rask county, led to the detection, siege, and targeting of the terrorist team. The IRGC statement detailed that four terrorists were killed and six others were arrested during the operation. Unfortunately, three IRGC servicemen, identified as Ahmad Reza Saheb, Ahmad Zare'i, and Ali Rahmanian, were martyred in the line of duty. General Ahmad Shafaei, the spokesman for the 'Martyrs of Security' drills, had previously announced that the drills would continue in several counties within Sistan and Baluchestan, including Sarbaz, Kalat, Nik Shahr, Rask, Mehrestan, and Qasr-e Qand. The combat operation, which commenced on October 31, aims to strengthen sustainable security in the region.
