Tehran: The commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters has affirmed that the Iranian armed forces are prepared to respond decisively to any breach of commitments by adversaries.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Major General Ali Abdollahi emphasized in a message commemorating the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) that the Iranian nation takes pride in the strategic capabilities of the IRGC and other armed forces. These forces have reportedly driven adversaries, including Israel and the United States, to seek ceasefire agreements following missile and drone strikes.

The general highlighted the unwavering support of the Iranian populace, who have consistently shown their backing for the armed forces through their presence in the streets. He stated that the Iranian armed forces, alongside the government and people, are united and ready to deliver immediate responses to any threats, in alignment with the directives of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

The message further conveyed that the Iranian Armed Forces hold a strategic advantage and are committed to preventing any exploitation by the US, particularly in relation to the control of the Strait of Hormuz. Any violations of commitments will be met with appropriate responses, the message warned.

Additionally, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf remarked that Iran would not engage in negotiations under duress. He accused US President Donald Trump of attempting to transform diplomatic discussions into scenarios of capitulation, asserting that such tactics would only justify potential renewed aggression.
