Tehran: Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his UAE counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, have held a phone conversation to discuss latest regional and international developments. According to a statement posted on the Iranian Foreign Ministry's website, Araghchi and Al Nahyan exchanged views on regional and international developments on Monday night.According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the top Iranian diplomat also briefed the Emirati side on the progress of indirect nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington, the third round of which is expected in the coming days with the mediation of Oman.Further, the two sides emphasized the importance of continuing consultations between regional countries to safeguard common interests and maintain regional stability and security.
