Tehran: Gholamali Haddad Adel, a member of the Expediency Council, has stated that US President Donald Trump's recent comments are driven by his deep concern over the economic challenges that the conflict with Iran has inflicted on the American public.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Haddad Adel made these remarks during a press conference held on Monday after a memorial ceremony for the late martyr Ali Larijani. He commented, 'A new order is gradually emerging in the Persian Gulf, and Trump's remarks are a reflection of his deep concerns about the economic difficulties that war imposes on Americans.'

Haddad Adel emphasized the need for national unity and cohesion, urging political activists and factions not to connect electoral competitions with the public gatherings that have emerged in the aftermath of the conflict. He also called on these groups to support the armed forces in line with the Leader's directives.
