Tehran: Iran's Vice President for Executive Affairs, Mohammad Jafar Qaempanah, announced that the enemy's actions cannot diminish the Iranian nation's resistance, following the rapid repair of the Shahid Mirzaei Tunnel after a US strike. The tunnel, crucial for transportation on the Bandar Abbas-Hajiabad route, was reopened within six hours of the attack.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Qaempanah addressed reporters about the US strike's intent to disrupt transportation links in Hormozgan province. However, he emphasized that such actions fail to weaken the resolve of the Iranian nation and its armed forces. Qaempanah arrived in Hormozgan province to address issues affecting Iran's southern regions, upon the directive of President Masoud Pezeshkian.

During his visit to the Shahid Mirzaei Tunnel, Qaempanah reiterated the US's objective to hinder Hormozgan's transportation routes but affirmed that the Iranian nation remains steadfast. He praised the swift response of Iranian workers and managers in reopening the tunnel, highlighting the nation's resilience against Washington's economic disruptions.

In a separate inspection of a damaged bridge over the Shur River, a vital transportation route in Khuzestan province, Qaempanah mentioned the design of an alternative route that has successfully restored traffic flow, showcasing Iran's capability to overcome adversities.
