Tehran: Acting Defense Minister Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Ibn al-Reza has declared that the Islamic Republic of Iran places no value on threats made by certain US officials, describing their remarks as mere political messages rather than indications of any genuine military capability.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Brigadier General Ibn al-Reza stated on Sunday that US officials mistakenly believe that repeated threats can alter Iran's resolve or intimidate the Islamic Republic. He emphasized that such threats are primarily political in nature and lack the backing of substantial military force. The general underscored the importance of understanding that Iran cannot be influenced through intimidation.

He further explained that Iran has never posed a threat to neighboring countries or regional nations. Tehran has consistently worked to differentiate between allies and adversaries through wisdom and prudence. The acting defense minister assured that if a new conflict arises, Iran will operate from a significantly stronger technological standpoint compared to past engagements.

General Ibn al-Reza highlighted that the military capabilities occasionally displayed by Iran represent only a fraction of its actual defense and industrial potential. He assured that development in this sector would continue robustly. The general reiterated Iran's readiness to confront any threats, emphasizing that this preparedness is based on the country's independent capabilities and strategies.

He concluded by stressing that the Islamic Republic relies solely on its own will, capabilities, and domestic resources to secure its safety and protect its interests, dismissing any external threats as inconsequential.
