Sana’a: Mahdi Al-Mashat, the head of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, has called on Islamic and Arab nations and governments to adopt a strong and unified position, urging effective and immediate action to confront what he describes as the pervasive threat of the Israeli regime and to save the lives of residents in the Gaza Strip.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mahdi Al-Mashat emphasized the necessity for Islamic nations to take a strong and unified stance to repel the perceived threat posed by the Zionist regime. He warned that failing to address the situation in the Gaza Strip and Palestine today could result in an inability to fend off future dangers. Al-Mashat criticized those indifferent to the suffering of Gaza’s residents, suggesting a lack of understanding of religion, dignity, Islam, or humanity.
Addressing the rulers of Arab and Islamic countries, Al-Mashat urged them to take action or at least allow their nations to do so. He cautioned that if neither the governments nor the nations take action, the entire Islamic community would face consequences for their silence.
Al-Mashat further stated that the Zionist regime is the fundamental issue and pursuing peace and reconciliation with it would be misleading.
