Iran’s Nuclear Industry Set to Flourish Again, Says A.E.O.I. Spokesperson

Tehran: The spokesperson for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (A.E.O.I.) has affirmed that Iran’s nuclear industry is deeply entrenched domestically and is poised for resurgence. Behrouz Kamalvandi emphasized that the nuclear sector in Iran has firm roots and is resilient against external pressures and attacks.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, recent events have highlighted the challenges faced by Iran’s nuclear industry. On June 13, Israel carried out a series of aggressive actions against Iran, including the assassination of military commanders and nuclear scientists, and air raids on residential areas that resulted in civilian casualties. The United States escalated the situation on June 22 by bombing three Iranian nuclear sites. The conflict ceased on June 24 after Israel requested a ceasefire in response to Iran’s retaliatory missile strikes.

These acts of aggression have been widely condemned by international organizations and countries, which have criticized the violations of Iran’s national sovereignty, international law, and the U.N. Charter.
