Yemen: Yemen's Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced that continued Saudi attacks on Yemen would not go unanswered, following Saudi airstrikes on several areas in the country.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Saree stated that Saudi Arabia had intensified its military campaign against Yemen alongside its continued blockade, carrying out airstrikes and killings. Saudi fighter jets have conducted 129 strikes on the provinces of Taiz, Ma'rib, Al-Hudaydah, Al-Jawf, Sa'dah, 'Amran, and Hajjah over the past 48 hours.

These attacks were executed by F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets from Saudi airbases located in Khamis Mushait and Taif. General Saree also reported that Saudi forces had flown reconnaissance aircraft over Yemen and supplied their agents with various types of weapons.

Saree emphasized that Saudi Arabia must face the consequences of its actions against the Yemeni people. His remarks came after Saudi fighter jets bombed several areas in Yemen earlier in the day.
