Tehran: The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced a drone attack on a Saudi Aramco refinery, marking a new phase of military operations against Saudi Arabia. The statement was made by the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, General Yahya Saree, who disclosed that the operations took place on 20 August and targeted both an Aramco facility and an airport in the Najran province. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, General Saree confirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces executed two separate military operations using drones. The first operation targeted a sensitive location at Najran Airport, while the second focused on the Aramco facility in Najran. General Saree stated that both operations successfully reached their objectives. The Yemeni Armed Forces cited 'Saudi violations of Yemeni airspace' over Saada as the reason for these military operations.
