Americans Demand End to Wars, Focus on Domestic Issues, Says Iranian Official

Doha:Gilan Mohammad Jafar Ghaempanah, deputy to the president for executive affairs, has stated that the recent US elections reflect a clear demand from American voters for an end to wars and a greater focus on domestic issues and livelihoods.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ghaempanah made these remarks during a meeting with investors and economic activists in Gilan Province, northern Iran. He emphasized that the message from US voters aligns with Iran's longstanding call for Washington to cease its threats to other countries and prioritize its own citizens.

Ghaempanah noted that voters who previously supported Republicans are moving away from the party because they desire an end to wars, a focus on addressing the cost of living, prioritization of America, and a reevaluation of Washington's ties with Israel. He also commended Iranian entrepreneurs and producers for their role in maintaining economic resilience in the face of decades-long US sanctions and restrictions.
