Tehran:Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has issued a response to US Vice President JD Vance's recent criticism of US war policy. Ghalibaf questioned why Vance does not direct his criticism toward US President Donald Trump.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ghalibaf expressed his views in a post on his X account on Thursday. He remarked, "Losing gambler energy, can't walk away from the table. Boss is preparing the next war phase while America teeters on an Israel-First cliff." He further added, "Skip the TED talk. Why not say this to your boss?"

This reaction from Ghalibaf followed a statement by Vance on his X account, where Vance mentioned that many Trump supporters voted for Democrats due to issues such as ending wars, focusing on the cost of living and inflation, prioritizing America first, and reassessing ties with Israel. Vance also attributed the Republicans' defeat to the war on Iran and challenged its supporters to justify its costs.
