Tehran: The new ambassadors from India and Denmark, alongside the newly appointed representative from the World Health Organization (WHO) office in Iran, convened with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi as they embarked on their respective diplomatic missions.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the meetings were held on Tuesday, marking the official start of the new Indian and Danish ambassadors' assignments in Tehran as they presented copies of their credentials to the Iranian foreign minister. On the same day, the Japanese ambassador to Iran, Tsukada Tamaki, concluded his diplomatic duties with a farewell meeting with Araghchi.

Denmark's new ambassador, Christian Atzen, officially submitted his credentials to Araghchi during their meeting on Tuesday. In a separate session, Vishwash Negi, the newly appointed ambassador of India to Tehran, also met with the Iranian foreign minister to present his credentials.

Additionally, the WHO's new Representative and Head of Mission in Iran, Jean Jabbour, had a meeting with Araghchi on the same day, signaling the start of his tenure in Tehran.
