Armed Forces Prepared for New Warfare Challenges: Top Iranian General

Tehran: Chairman of Iran’s Armed Forces Chief of Staff, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, emphasized that the Armed Forces are fully prepared in both intelligence and operational capacities. In an address commemorating the Student’s Day at the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) University of Command and Staff in Tehran, Major General Mousavi highlighted the importance of integrating modern knowledge with faith as the cornerstone of the Armed Forces’ authority. He advocated for this approach to be adopted as a strategic model in all educational centers.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Major General Mousavi stressed the importance of utilizing modern technologies, strategic research, and artificial intelligence within the armed forces. He underscored the necessity of fostering national unity and building hope as critical strategies for students, remarking that students’ roles in creating hopeful narratives and strengthening national cohesion are on par with their operational missions.

Referring to developments in hybrid and cognitive warfare, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces emphasized that preparedness for new forms of warfare is a strategic necessity. Major General Mousavi urged students to study and practice new defense scenarios to develop proactive capabilities in response to any threats.
