Tehran: IRGC Chief Commander Major General Mohammad Pakpour has emphasized the need to enhance Iran’s missiles with stealth technology to strengthen their ability to penetrate enemy defenses. In an address commemorating the Student Day at Imam Hussein University in Tehran on Sunday, General Pakpour underscored the decisive and critical role advanced technologies play in the conflict, including in intelligence gathering, surveillance, and assault.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, General Pakpour highlighted the challenges faced during the 12-day Israel-imposed war in June, stating, “We were on the battlefield against the enemy equipped with the latest technology in the world.” He congratulated students and honored the memory of the fallen heroes, noting that Iran had not only confronted the Israeli aggression but also effectively fought against the US, Europe, and several other countries that supported the regime.
General Pakpour elaborated on the enemy’s complex planning, which aimed to turn the aggression into a full-fledged combined war. He mentioned that despite attempts to create chaos in Iran through bombing sensitive positions and assassinating top commanders, these efforts were thwarted by the immediate restoration of the command structure by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
On achieving victory against foreign aggressors, General Pakpour stated that the enemy, unable to withstand Iranian missile strikes and national unity, eventually requested a ceasefire. He emphasized that the enemy now fully understands the potential for a harsher and more crushing response should they attempt any new act of aggression against Iran.
