Tehran:Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, has stated that the continuous pursuit of a stronger Iran is essential to achieving absolute deterrence. He highlighted the importance of comprehensive progress in his message on the occasion of the 13th of Aban, the National Day of Fighting against Global Arrogance.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that national unity, solidarity, and social cohesion are crucial for success and must be reflected in every action at all levels. He described the 13th of Aban as a day marking significant milestones in the confrontation between truth and falsehood and between the oppressed and oppressors, particularly concerning the United States.

Ayatollah Khamenei traced the history of US hostility towards Iran back to the 1953 coup, which was aimed at exploiting Iran's resources. He recounted the US's continued aggressive actions, including economic sanctions, support for separatist groups, and military interventions. He also noted the Iranian people's firm resistance against these actions.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution also discussed Iran's strategic responses, such as exercising control over the Strait of Hormuz and the demonstration of power by the Resistance Front. He underscored the importance of self-reliance and faith in divine promises, stating that falsehood will ultimately perish as the Iranian nation continues to follow the teachings of Islam and its leaders.
