Bushehr Chamber and Iran-Vietnam Joint Chamber Sign MoU to Boost Trade Relations

Tehran: The head of the Bushehr Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Iran-Vietnam Joint Chamber of Commerce. The agreement aims to enhance trade, export, and investment ties between the economic operators of both regions.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Khorshid Gazderazi, in an interview on Wednesday, shared that the MoU seeks to effectively utilize resources from both sides and create new opportunities to strengthen trade, export, and investment relations. A 'Vietnam Desk' is to be established at the Bushehr Chamber of Commerce as part of this agreement. This initiative will facilitate economic connections by providing essential market information, trade regulations, tariffs, and identifying potential business partners and opportunities for exports and investments.

Gazderazi highlighted that the areas of cooperation under the MoU will include coordinating trade and exhibition delegations, organizing specialized meetings and training courses, conducting market studies and feasibility assessments, and showcasing Bushehr's economic capacities. Emphasizing the province's strengths in production, exports, fisheries, agriculture, and food industries, he expressed optimism that this collaboration would lead to increased trade exchanges and a more robust presence of Bushehr's products in the Vietnamese market.
