Tehran: Director-General for Asia-Pacific Affairs at Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ali Asghar Mohammadi, has rejected claims that China has imposed conditions on ties with Iran.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mohammadi, in an exclusive interview on Wednesday, refuted claims by a political activist regarding the nature of Iran-China relations, labeling them as false. He also dismissed the notion that China had set conditions on its bilateral relations with Iran, stressing the solid and profound ties between the two nations.

Mohammadi highlighted that both the Islamic Republic of Iran and the People's Republic of China are committed at the highest leadership levels to preserving and enhancing their relations across all areas of mutual interest.
