TEHRAN: The first encyclopedia documenting Iranian terror victims, initially released in 2011, has been updated and unveiled by the Habilian Association. The comprehensive volume chronicles the stories of over 17,000 individuals who have fallen victim to terrorist activities in Iran.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad, the head of the Habilian Association, highlighted the significance of the encyclopedia at an unveiling ceremony held in Tehran on Wednesday. The publication aims to bring attention to the human cost of terrorism in Iran over the years and serves as a memorial to those who have lost their lives.
The event also featured remarks from Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi. He stated that the number of deaths resulting from terrorist operations in Iran over the past 40 years has increased to 23,000. The updated encyclopedia seeks to provide a comprehensive account of these tragic events and the individuals affected by them.
