Tehran: The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (I.R.G.C.) has issued a warning that Iran’s military actions will intensify if Israeli hostilities continue. The I.R.G.C. announced this stance in a statement, emphasizing that it has already targeted Israel’s military fuel infrastructure in retaliation for recent strikes.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, early on June 13, Israel initiated multiple strikes against Iran, including bombings in the capital, Tehran. The Tel Aviv regime escalated the situation by targeting residential buildings in and around Tehran and assassinating several senior military officials. In response to these actions, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, declared that Israel had determined a ‘bitter and painful’ fate for itself.
In retaliation, the I.R.G.C. launched a significant drone and missile operation, targeting facilities involved in the production of fuel for Israeli fighter jets and energy supply centers. This operation, named ‘Operation True Promise 3,’ was carried out as a direct response to Israeli aggression.
The I.R.G.C. statement further mentioned that Iranian air defense systems successfully intercepted three cruise missiles, 10 drones, and numerous small hostile micro air vehicles in the affected areas.
