TEHRAN: The Iranian Army's Air Force Commander, Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi, has issued a stern warning to the Israeli regime, stating that any act of aggression against the Islamic Republic will be met with a response that will make Israel regret its actions. The statement underscores Iran's resolve to defend its territory against external threats. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Brigadier General Vahedi emphasized the critical role of the Yasini military base, located in the southern city of Bushehr, in bolstering Iran's defense capabilities. He noted the base's preparedness, particularly following the recent military exercise, Operation True Promise II, which took place in early October. The operation aimed to enhance the readiness of the forces stationed at Yasini to secure Iran's sovereignty. General Vahedi lauded the pilots of the Yasini base for their preparedness to counter any adventurous actions by Israel. He also criticized foreign nations that profess to uphold human rights while r emaining silent on Israel's ongoing actions in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. Since April, Iran has retaliated with missile and drone strikes against Israel twice, in response to acts of aggression, including the assassination of resistance leaders and other regional transgressions. Iran maintains that it holds the inherent right to respond to recent aggressions by the Zionist regime in accordance with the UN charter and international law.
