Tehran:Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi of Iran and his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan have engaged in discussions on issues of mutual interest.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the meeting, which took place in Tehran on Monday, focused on significant bilateral, regional, and international topics.

Esmaeil Baqaei, a spokesperson from the Foreign Ministry, stated that Mirzoyan's visit is part of ongoing consultations aimed at expanding relations between Iran and Armenia and enhancing regional peace and security.

During his visit, Mirzoyan is anticipated to address regional cooperation in the South Caucasus with Iranian officials.
