Iranian Students Achieve Third Consecutive Title in Astronomy Olympiad

Tehran:Iranian students have claimed their third consecutive world title in astronomy and astrophysics, securing five gold medals and showcasing the country's youth potential, according to Mohammad Mokhber, adviser and aide to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mokhber emphasized that the success of Iran's national team highlights the talent, scientific ability, and potential of the nation's teenagers on a global scale.

He attributed this achievement to the ambition, perseverance, and scientific efforts of the students, whose knowledge and skills brought distinction to Iran in the international competition. Mokhber also pointed out the significance of aligning young talent with strategic priorities, noting that many top Iranian students have progressed to work in universities, research centers, strategic industries, and technology companies, contributing to the country's scientific and technological capabilities.

He further noted that integrating the new generation of talent with fields such as space science and technology, artificial intelligence, advanced computing, and emerging technologies could accelerate Iran's progress and enhance its scientific and technological prowess.

Mokhber extended his congratulations to the team members, their families, teachers, coaches, and others involved in nurturing their talents, wishing them continued success in science, progress, and service to the country.
