Doha: The Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan have jointly called for a unified response to the actions of the Israeli regime in the region. President Masoud Pezeshkian and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized this need during their discussions at the emergency summit of Islamic and Arab leaders held in Doha.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the discussions between Pezeshkian and Sharif centered around the urgent necessity for solidarity and coordinated actions among Islamic nations in response to the ongoing situation. President Pezeshkian stressed that unity among Muslim countries, along with a cohesive strategy, is crucial in effectively countering Israeli actions.
President Pezeshkian also commended Pakistan’s enduring support for Muslim communities and highlighted the potential for enhanced bilateral cooperation, particularly in border areas. This cooperation, he noted, could benefit not only Iran and Pakistan but also the wider region. He urged both countries to make progress on previously agreed deals.
Prime Minister Sharif echoed the importance of a unified approach to counter Israeli measures and highlighted the need to expedite the implementation of agreements previously established between Iran and Pakistan.
