Tehran:President Masoud Pezeshkian has announced Iran's readiness to enhance relations with Thailand across various sectors, including economic, scientific, and technological fields.
According to the Islamic Republic News Agency, Pezeshkian's remarks came on Tuesday during a meeting with Thailand's new ambassador to Tehran, Sake Nopthaisong, as he received the ambassador's credentials. The president expressed optimism that the ambassador's presence in Iran would lead to increased cooperation between the two nations.
Ambassador Nopthaisong conveyed the good wishes of the King of Thailand to President Pezeshkian and highlighted the historical ties between Iran and Thailand, dating back to the Persian Empire. He committed to continuing this legacy and advancing bilateral relations. The ambassador also assured that Thailand stands in solidarity with Iran during challenging times.
