Tehran:Army Chief General Amir Hatami has commended the relentless efforts of police personnel, emphasizing that sustainable security and public peace owe much to the strong presence and sacrifices of the police forces.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, in a message marking Police Week, Hatami lauded the Iran Law Enforcement Command (FARAJA) for their dedication in maintaining order and security, as well as safeguarding public peace.

He noted that the consistent security and social peace in the country are a result of the sacrifices and efforts of both men and women who serve under challenging conditions, facing various threats and challenges.

Hatami also recognized police martyrs, acknowledging their ultimate sacrifice, loyalty, and service to the people and the country by giving their lives in the line of duty.

Furthermore, the commander highlighted FARAJA's initiatives to improve intelligence capabilities, operational awareness, and the adoption of new technologies and methods to combat crimes and emerging threats.
