Tehran:Iran has declared its readiness to engage in negotiations while firmly defending its national interests and territorial integrity, as stated by Administration spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mohajerani made these remarks during the 12th International Congress on Pulmonary Diseases, Intensive Care and Tuberculosis. She emphasized that the Islamic Republic would protect the country through either diplomacy or warfare, should the need arise.

The spokesperson highlighted the importance of logic in opting for negotiations, stating, "Through negotiations, we seek to continue our scientific interactions with the world, but under no circumstances will we compromise on our rights."

Mohajerani also addressed the challenges posed by Iran's adversaries, describing the situation as a broader civilizational conflict and a scientific war. She argued that these adversaries aim to confront Iran through scientific means, acknowledging Iran as a civilizational and historical superpower.

Furthermore, she accused Iran's opponents of exploiting science to maintain global dominance rather than furthering humanity's progress. Despite these challenges, Mohajerani expressed confidence in Iran's ability to overcome the situation and maintain its pride.
