Tehran:Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi has criticized the United States for the consequences of its nuclear tests, highlighting Washington's responsibility toward the victims.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Gharibabadi expressed his views in a post on his X account, stating that the United States' conduct of 67 nuclear tests in the Marshall Islands has led to significant human and environmental consequences over the past decades. He emphasized that these actions serve as undeniable evidence of the responsibility of nuclear powers.
Gharibabadi further argued that instead of lecturing other nations, the United States should be held accountable for its actions, compensate the victims for their damages, and commit to transparency and nuclear disarmament.
