Tehran:Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi has firmly rejected allegations made by British Prime Minister Burnham concerning Iran's involvement in an incident at the Royal Air Force (RAF) Fairford base.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi responded to the British prime minister's statements in a post on his X account on Thursday. He highlighted that PM Burnham claimed the UK government 'can confirm our belief that we believe Iran to have played a part' in the RAF Fairford incident.
Araghchi countered by asserting Iran's position on the matter, stating, "I can confirm Iran's belief that releasing supposed terrorists working for foreign states really says it all." He further dismissed the allegations by telling the British prime minister, "You're barking up the wrong tree."
