Tehran: The Iranian Armed Forces have praised the Pakistani Army for its effective action in addressing terrorist activities. In a recent statement, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed optimism that complete security would be achieved along the shared borders with Pakistan through the implementation of bilateral security agreements.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the statement highlighted that terrorist groups connected with the US and the Zionist regime had been conducting sabotage missions at the Iran-Pakistan borders. These activities were ultimately countered during military operations executed by the Pakistani Army, referred to as ‘the friendly and brotherly country of Pakistan.’
On November 5, the Pakistani Army undertook an operation against a Takfiri terrorist group within its territory, successfully eliminating several members and agents of the group. This operation was a significant step towards stabilizing the region.
