Tehran: The Iranian Defense Ministry has declared that the nation's armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any renewed aggression by the United States and Israel. Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik, the spokesperson for the ministry, issued this warning during a ceremony in the City of Rey, which commemorated the late Major General Aziz Nasirzadeh and his companions, who were killed in a terrorist attack by the United States and the Zionist regime during the recent conflict with Iran.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Talaei-Nik highlighted that the unprovoked war on Iran has exposed the vulnerabilities of the United States, leading many nations and governments to recognize the diminishing influence of American dominance and declining unilateralism. He emphasized that the actions of US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have resulted in them being viewed as the most despised figures globally due to their roles in the conflict in Iran and other regions.
Talaei-Nik further noted that the world has shifted towards multilateralism, moving away from American unilateralism, largely due to the resistance and defense demonstrated by the Iranian nation during what he referred to as the Ramadan War. He paid homage to Martyr General Nasirzadeh, acknowledging his significant contributions in the Defense Ministry, particularly in military equipment production during his 18-month tenure.
The spokesperson concluded by affirming the commitment of Nasirzadeh's colleagues to uphold the legacy of the fallen commanders with the same dedication and fervor.
