Tehran: Government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is actively pursuing diplomatic negotiations with various countries, aiming to achieve honorable and sustainable peace in the region.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, in a televised report on Wednesday, Mohajerani referred to the visit of Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to China, stating that the country is seeking honorable and sustainable peace in the region, and Araghchi's trip was conducted in line with this objective.

She also highlighted a message from President Masoud Pezeshkian shared on social media, where he asserted, 'We only submit to God, and no one can force us to submit.'

Mohajerani stressed the need to maintain national unity and cohesion, adding that Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has also noted that all actions are taken in accordance with the guidelines of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and are focused on national interests.
