Beijing: Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced on Wednesday that his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, agreed that Iran has experienced a significant transformation following the war, resulting in an enhanced international standing and demonstrating its capability and authority.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi, speaking after his meeting with Wang Yi in Beijing, emphasized that their discussions covered a wide range of topics. He noted, "Our Chinese friends also believe that post-war Iran is different from pre-war Iran. It has achieved an elevated international standing and has proven its power and authority. Therefore, a new period of cooperation between Iran and other countries lies ahead."

Araghchi detailed that the talks with his Chinese counterpart included discussions on the US-Israeli-imposed war against Iran, strategies to bring it to an end, ongoing negotiations, Iran's peaceful nuclear program, sanctions, and various bilateral issues. They also addressed the situation of the Strait of Hormuz and the importance of respecting Iran's rights.

Araghchi arrived in Beijing early on Wednesday, heading a diplomatic delegation to further these discussions.
