Tehran:Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, a senior spokesperson for Iran's Armed Forces, announced that the country is prepared to respond to any aggression with advanced military technologies, including enhanced missiles and drones.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Shekarchi emphasized that Iran's military approach has evolved significantly since the Islamic Revolution, transitioning from conventional to asymmetric warfare. He described asymmetric warfare as a strategy that uses less costly and more effective defensive equipment against the enemy's expensive and complex weaponry.

Shekarchi highlighted the role of sacrifice, faith, and spirituality in Iran's defense tactics, asserting that the country has surpassed its adversaries in military advancements. He credited the late commander Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam with achieving self-sufficiency in Iran's missile capabilities.

The spokesperson also stressed the importance of information security to preserve a strategic advantage, pointing out that Iran's enemies have underestimated the nation's resilience and defensive strength. He criticized past attacks on Iran as misguided.

Regarding the strategic Strait of Hormuz, Shekarchi warned that any vessel attempting to navigate outside the designated Iranian route would face security risks. He stated that American intervention in the Strait would be met with a strong response and suggested that the United States should withdraw from West Asia to avoid further harm, predicting increased regional security following their departure.
