Tehran: Iran's central military command has issued a stark warning to the United States and its regional allies, asserting that any new actions against Tehran would provoke 'continuous, effective and painful' retaliatory attacks targeting U.S. bases and interests throughout the region.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters released a statement on Sunday, accusing Washington of attempting to obscure its setbacks and fabricate 'false achievements' in its recent confrontations with Iran. The statement revealed that the United States, allegedly with support from certain regional countries, had resolved to recommence hostilities against Iran following a collaborative meeting in a European nation.

The military command made it clear that any perceived misstep by the United States against the Islamic Republic would result in relentless and severe attacks on U.S. bases and interests, with no constraints or considerations. Additionally, Iran cautioned regional nations against supporting U.S. aggression, warning that any alignment with Washington would render them complicit in the actions.

The statement emphasized that such countries could no longer anticipate restraint or leniency from Iran's formidable Armed Forces.
