Tehran: The spokesperson for the IRGC's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters has warned the United States that Iran would target remaining regional infrastructure if its own domestic infrastructure were attacked.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari declared on Thursday that the US continues its aggression and destabilization of the region. He emphasized that under no circumstances will Iran allow the United States, as a trans-regional power, to interfere in the Strait of Hormuz, declaring it Iran's invincible red line.

The spokesperson cautioned that if the US carries out its threats to attack Iranian infrastructure, Iran would retaliate by targeting 'all the infrastructure still standing in the region,' with the intention of reducing them to rubble and erasing them completely. Zolfaghari stressed that Iran's response will be overwhelmingly superior, not measured or equal.

He further noted that any retaliatory strikes by Iran's armed forces will be fiercer, wider-ranging, and more ruinous than ever before.
