According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi sent a congratulatory message on Monday, emphasizing the potential for expanded cooperation between the two nations. This gesture follows recent discussions between Araghchi and Sudan's Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Gibril Ibrahim Mohamed, in Tehran, where they explored shared interests and the prospects for economic and trade relations. In a related development, President Masoud Pezeshkian highlighted Iran's readiness to strengthen ties with Sudan. On August 1, he expressed satisfaction with the progress made in restoring diplomatic relations and reiterated Iran's commitment to future collaborations with Sudan.
