Tehran:Farzaneh Sadegh, Minister of Roads and Urban Development, emphasized that despite the economic difficulties resulting from sanctions and ongoing conflict, the Iranian people remain steadfast in their commitment to their homeland. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Sadegh addressed a conference in observance of Sacred Defense Week, noting that this year stands apart from previous ones due to enduring a 40-day conflict that continues. She highlighted the Israeli adversary's declaration to target railway tracks, which contravenes international conventions. In response, Iran managed to transport 6,000 stranded train passengers to their destinations by bus within five hours, thanks to the efforts of the Iran Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization. Sadegh also mentioned that the enemy attacked and destroyed the control tower of Chabahar Port, a crucial symbol of national development, on three occasions. Plans are underway to rebuild the tower promptly. Despite facing severe economic chal lenges, exacerbated by war, sanctions, and an economic blockade, the Iranian people are committed to defending their land, with Sadegh affirming their readiness to make sacrifices to ensure Iran's enduring strength.
