According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Baqaei shared this sentiment in a post on X after attending a performance of 'Arash' in Tehran. The play is based on the legendary Iranian archer from mythology.

Baqaei commented on the portrayal of Arash, highlighting the character as a symbol of sacrifice and responsibility towards the homeland. He emphasized that myths like Arash are integral to the nation's shared memory, connecting people to their roots and each other.
