Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Describes Trilateral Meeting with China and Russia as Constructive

Tehran: Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, has described a recent trilateral meeting with China and Russia as both productive and constructive. The meeting focused on significant issues such as Iran's nuclear program, sanctions relief, and United Nations Security Council Resolution 2231.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the meeting, which followed agreements reached by deputy foreign ministers in Beijing, brought together officials from Iran, China, and Russia. The sessions were aimed at discussing key concerns, with an emphasis on Iran's nuclear ambitions and related international challenges.

Gharibabadi underscored Iran's commitment to ongoing diplomatic engagement with all involved parties, highlighting the importance of dialogue in resolving complex international issues. He reaffirmed Iran's dedication to diplomacy as a means to navigate the challenges posed by its nuclear program and the sanctions imposed on the nation.

In a related statement, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's representative to international organizations in Vienna, expressed on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the expert-level meeting in Moscow was highly productive. He noted that the trilateral coordination among China, Iran, and Russia was deemed very useful and valuable in addressing the prospects and challenges associated with the Iranian nuclear program.
