Tehran: The Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has met with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to review challenges facing the Muslim world. Mohammad Hassan Sheikholesalami met and held talks with Araghchi in Tehran, with the focus of their discussions being the issues related to Muslims, including regional developments amid the US and Israeli wars of aggression in the West Asia region.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Sheikholesalami also presented a report on the actions and programs of Iran's OIC mission in the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah, as well as its consultations within the framework of the 57-nation bloc, which is representing the collective voice of the Muslim world.

The two officials also exchanged views on the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestine and Lebanon, as well as the OIC's capacities, mechanisms, and initiatives to strengthen coordination between Muslim countries to collectively act against these crimes.
