New York:The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran has called on the international community to hold the United States and the Israeli regime accountable for their actions in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz. He attributes the ongoing insecurity in these regions to what he describes as their interventionist and illegal activities, which he claims have resulted in significant humanitarian, security, and economic consequences. According to the Islamic Republic News Agency, this statement was made during a meeting between Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, Chair of The Elders. The meeting took place in New York, where Araghchi was attending the annual session of the UN General Assembly. During their discussion, they exchanged views on various international issues, including trends and challenges in international relations, as well as threats to global peace and security. They also explored potential ways to address these dangers and challenges.
