Tehran:Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, has stated that the era to which Iran's enemies long to return has ended and will not be repeated.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ayatollah Khamenei made this declaration in a message marking Sacred Defense Week and the anniversary of Martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah's death. He emphasized that the revolutionary spirit born from the First Imposed War has fortified Iran against past colonial influences.

Ayatollah Khamenei reflected on the historical context, recalling the dark days before the Iranian Revolution, when foreign powers exerted significant influence over the country's affairs. He noted the transformation brought by the revolution and the establishment of the Islamic Republic, which ended this period of foreign domination.

The Leader highlighted the resilience and strength demonstrated by the Iranian people since the revolution, noting their willingness to defend their nation and Islamic values. He remarked on the substantial number of Iranians ready to sacrifice for their country, underscoring the unity and enthusiasm among the populace.

Ayatollah Khamenei also paid tribute to the legacy of Imam Khomeini and other influential figures, acknowledging their contributions to Iran's current strength and dignity. He expressed hope for a future where Iran and its allies continue to achieve victory and triumph, while their adversaries face defeat.
