Tehran: Iran's Armed Forces spokesperson has warned that any new attack by the US against Iranian infrastructure would trigger a 'very devastating' response. Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi stated that Iran was fully prepared for war and would respond forcefully to 'any attack and new adventurism' against the country. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, General Shekarchi emphasized that if Iran's infrastructure is damaged, it would target all infrastructure in the region. He highlighted that if the enemies were capable of destroying Iran, they would not hesitate to take action. General Shekarchi further stated that the United States and the Zionist regime have no right to be in the region, accusing them of plundering regional countries and causing insecurity. He asserted that Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz is a source of security for the region and insisted on the withdrawal of US forces, affirming that Iran would not compromise on the matter.
