Hanoi:Tehran: Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Ahmad Vahidi has expressed congratulations to the Iranian national astronomy and astrophysics Olympiad team for their outstanding achievement in Hanoi, Vietnam, where they secured five gold medals and the world title.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, this victory marks the third consecutive year that Iran has claimed the top spot in the competition, which saw participation from 66 countries. Vahidi emphasized that this success is a source of pride for the Iranian people and the country's armed forces.
He commended the students for their dedication, as well as their families, teachers, and officials for their support. Vahidi highlighted that Iran's youth will continue to contribute to the nation's progress by leveraging the country's skilled and committed human capital.
