Tehran: A series of road, housing, and urban renewal projects worth more than 60 trillion rials are set to be inaugurated in northern Sistan and Baluchestan Province, southeastern Iran, during Government Week, the provincial director general of Roads and Urban Development says. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mehdi Parsi announced that the projects encompass major highway and main road schemes, National Housing Movement projects, and urban renewal plans. These initiatives aim to address infrastructure shortages, improve road safety, and fulfill the housing and developmental needs of residents. Parsi detailed that 89 kilometers of highways and main roads are prepared for inauguration, with their current value exceeding 62.55 trillion rials.
