Moscow: Iran's Ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, has asserted that the Islamic Republic has consistently overcome challenges by relying on three pivotal components: the eternal divine essence, the popular support for the Islamic establishment, and the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. Jalali expressed these views during his address to a gathering of Russian Muslim religious scholars and experts in Moscow, who assembled to show solidarity with Iran. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Jalali addressed the recent foreign-backed unrest and US military threats against Iran, expressing his confidence that the Islamic Republic's three influential components would help it navigate the current critical juncture. He highlighted the massive turnout of Iranian people in historic nationwide rallies on January 12 as evidence that, despite facing economic difficulties and expressing discontent with certain officials' actions, the populace remains supportive of the Is lamic Republic and its establishment. Jalali also addressed US President Donald Trump's disparaging comments about Ayatollah Khamenei, which elicited global condemnation. He remarked that Westerners understood the outrageousness of such remarks, as Iran's Leader is a revered religious figure with followers worldwide. Jalali emphasized that Ayatollah Khamenei's strong personality is one of the reasons behind the adversarial stance of Iran's enemies. In his speech, the ambassador expressed gratitude towards the Russian Muslims and Christians for their supportive sentiments towards the people and leadership of Iran, highlighting it as a symbol of unity between the two nations. He also referenced the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution's victory and the enduring struggle between right and wrong, noting that Iran has consistently pursued a clear path in combating wrongdoing while facing various conspiracies over more than four decades. Jalali pointed out that recent conspiracies orchestrated by adversari es involved inciting separatist and terrorist elements, imposing war, assassinating Iranian officials and citizens, sanctions, threats, and the downing of a passenger plane by an American warship over the Persian Gulf.
